Dr. Kimberly Yau is a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) specialist at CARE Fertility, committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Fluent in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese, she strives to create an inclusive and supportive environment for patients from all backgrounds. She is dedicated to guiding patients through their unique fertility journeys and helping them achieve their family-building goals with empathy, expertise, and evidence-based medicine.
Originally from Atlanta, Dr. Yau graduated with High Honors from the University of Georgia with dual bachelor's degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry, a minor in Spanish, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She earned her medical degree from the University of Virginia and completed her OB/GYN residency at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital, where she was selected as an Administrative Chief Resident. She then completed her fellowship in REI at the University of Southern California before returning to Texas.
Dr. Yau's clinical and research interests include polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), third-party reproduction, quality improvement, and expanding access to fertility care. She is recognized for both her clinical excellence and surgical proficiency—earning the 2021 Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award from the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. For her commitment to advancing reproductive medicine, she received the 2023 USC Broad Clinical Research Fellow Award for her innovative stem cell research at the USC Broad CIRM Center for Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cell Research.
