CARE Fertility Supports Braving Infertility Together Educational Conference
Drs. Kevin and Kathy Doody presenting the benefits of new effortless IVF®
DALLAS (February 25, 2019) – The Center for Assisted Reproduction, CARE Fertility, announces participation in the Braving Infertility Together Empowering Hope Educational Conference being hosted Saturday, March 23, 2019 at the Collin College Conference Center in McKinney, Texas. CARE Fertility co-founders, Kevin Doody, M.D., and Kathy Doody, M.D., will deliver a presentation about a new IVF (in vitro fertilization) treatment, effortless IVF®, which brings hope to families struggling with infertility.
Braving Infertility Together is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization with a mission to normalize the infertility process by providing experience-based support, encouragement, and education to members. In addition to the 24/7 online support group, Braving Infertility Together group holds monthly in person support meetings in a variety of locations, quarterly social gathering, retreats and annual fundraising events.
“We look forward to educating conference attendees about a new disruptive technology that greatly reduces the cost and number of doctor visits for couples considering IVF treatment,” says Dr. Kevin Doody. “We developed effortless IVF to make IVF more affordable and accessible. It’s called ‘effortless’ because the procedure requires only two or three doctor visits prior to egg retrieval compared to eight appointments with traditional IVF. We’re able to cut the costs for IVF treatment in half.”
Dr. Kathy Doody adds, “It’s an honor to be presenting during the conference. We joined the ‘Brave At Heart’ Run last October and were impressed by the mission of the organization in supporting members during their family journeys. In addition to our morning presentation and afternoon panel discussion, we will be offering a prize drawing for a free effortless IVF cycle.”
Empowering Hope Educational Conference is being held March 23, 9:30 a.m. − 4:30 p.m. at 2200 W. University Drive, McKinney, Texas. The event is open to the community, including couples, physicians, healthcare advocates and family care givers. The registration fee includes lunch.
“This is our inaugural educational conference and we’re thrilled to have Justine Froelker, author of best-seller ‘Ever Upward’ and her most recent book, ‘The Complicated Grey’ as our keynote speaker,” says Sarah Ivy, founder and executive director of Braving Infertility Together. “Our goal is to raise awareness and funds to provide even more support for those who cannot grow their family when and how they want. The conference is packed with topics from infertility diagnostics, self-care and fertility treatment options to adoption, loss, marriage and relationships. We will all leave empowered to understand our family building options in greater detail, and make a few friends along the way.”
