The Center for Assisted Reproduction (CARE Fertility) is headed by a husband and wife physician team - Kathleen Doody, M.D. and Kevin Doody, M.D.. This is a unique arrangement in which the fertility specialists and the infertile patients are both working together as couples with a common goal. In August of 2001 the physician team was joined by Anna Nackley, M.D.. In September of 2010 Christine Mansfield, M.D. will become part of our team.
"Dr Kathy" graduated from Texas A&M with a BS degree in Chemistry in 1980. Following this she attended the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston . After receiving her M.D. degree, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 1988. Dr Kathy completed her subspecialty training in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 1990. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. She is repetitively honored as one of Fort Worth’s Top Docs as well as one of Texas’ Super doctors.
"Dr Kevin" attended the University of Texas at Austin majoring in Liberal Arts. Subsequent to this, he attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston both for medical school and for a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Following completion of his residency in 1987, Dr Kevin received subspecialty training at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility in 1989. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. Dr. Kevin has repetitively been honored as one of Fort Worth’s Top Docs, one of Texas’ Super Doctors and one of the Best Doctors in America for the last several years. These awards remain current through 2011.
Dr. Kevin was also recognized as Microsoft Physician of the Year 2004.
Dr Nackley received her medical degree from Albany College and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Her fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility was completed at the University of South Florida where Dr Nackley also served as a clinical instructor. Dr Nackley, a native of North Texas, joined Drs Kevin and Kathy in August 2001. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and subspecialty board certified in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility. Dr. Nackley is repetitively honored as one of Fort Worth’s Top Docs as well as one of Texas' Super Doctors.
Christine Mansfield received her medical degree from University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her four year Ob/Gyn residency at the University of Alabama Hospital System in Birmingham. Her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility was completed at UT Southwestern Medical School in the spring of 2010. Dr. Mansfield joined CARE Fertility in September 2010. She is primarily located in our Fort Worth facility. Dr. Mansfield is a wonderful asset to our team.
Patricia A. McBride-Houtz, Ph.D. joined the Center for Assisted Reproduction in July 2008. Dr. McBride received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas in 1982. She received her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology at University of North Texas in Denton in 1987 where she also received her Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling Psychology in 1993. Both her professional as well as her personal experience makes her the perfect fit as a counselor for our patients.
Stephanie joined the Center for Assisted Reproduction in September 2010. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Texas Christian University in 2003. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies Degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth in 2008.
A native Texan, Dr. Thomas was born and raised in the suburbs of North Dallas. Wanting to remain in her home state, she attended Texas A&M and in December of 2000 graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences. Afterwards, she received her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and later completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. After completing her fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, also at the Southwestern Medical Center, Dr. Thomas will be joining the CARE fertility family. She is excited by the opportunity to care for her fellow North Texans and will be practicing primarily at our Frisco facility.
